We are American Made.

Welcome to American Made Schoolhouse! We are a Christ-centered, K-12th micro-school in Cody, Wyoming. We prioritize critical thinking, academic excellence, and, most importantly, Biblical values. American Made encourages creativity, collaboration, and problem-solving. We focus on teaching children how to think, not what to think.

At American Made Schoolhouse, we follow a traditional "red" schoolhouse model that emphasizes building relationships and discussion, just like they did in the old days. Did you know that age segregation was first used in communist societies? You would be blown away at the ideas that flow in our classroom!

American Made is designed to build community among children. It gives them a sense of belonging and the foundation of life-long friendships.

Our classroom is designed to facilitate learning through group work and collaboration, but we also prioritize individual growth and development. We aim to keep our environment as close to homeschooling as possible. As keeping with a Christ-centered approach, we teach students how to love as Jesus loved, walk as He walked and become who they were destined to be.

EXPERIENCE EDUATION: THE WAY IT'S SUPPOSED TO BE

Registration for the 2025-2026 year will open on June 5th.

Step 1

Application Submission

Begin the enrollment process by submitting your application online or in-person. Provide us with the necessary information to get to know you and your family better.

Step 3

Board of Trustees Review

Following the interview and assessment, your application will be reviewed by our esteemed Board of Trustees. This step ensures that we maintain our commitment to excellence and uphold our standards of academic rigor and values. Our Board of Trustees is dedicated to selecting students and families who align with our mission and will thrive in our school community.

Step 5

Enrollment Confirmation

Upon completing the necessary enrollment steps, you will confirm your enrollment at Cody Schoolhouse. We will provide you with orientation materials and support to help you transition smoothly into our school community.

Step 2

Family Interview and Assessment

Once we receive your application, we will invite you and your child for a personal interview and assessment. This is an opportunity for us to learn more about your educational goals, values, and aspirations.

Step 4

Notification of Acceptance

After the Board of Trustees review, you will receive a notification regarding your application status. If accepted, you will receive details on the next steps for enrollment, including submitting required documents and a non-refundable $200 deposit for securing your spot at American Made Schoolhouse.
